This workshop is designed for researchers and practitioners working with reconstruction and image analysis across modalities such as X-ray and neutron CT. The focus is on deepening understanding of image reconstruction processes using the CCPi CIL (Core Imaging Library, https://ccpi.ac.uk/cil/) and exploring how reconstruction choices influence downstream analysis and interpretation.

Participants will be introduced to CIL’s capabilities, including modular reconstruction pipelines, algorithm selection, case studies and effect of limited data and common reconstruction artifacts. This lunch-to-lunch event will combine overview lecture with hands-on exercises and discussions.

With the event we aim to start bridging the gap between reconstruction and image analysis, fostering better-informed decisions in imaging research.

At the end of the workshop, we will discuss how to further combine and integrate reconstruction and analysis workflows as well as the potential for a larger international workshop involving large scale imaging facilities and what elements such a workshop could involve.

The workshop is physical and will run from lunch-to-lunch on the 20-21st of October.

We have a maximum of 20 participants. If you are interested in joining please write Jakob Sauer Jørgensen jakj(a)dtu.dk and ask for a place.

A detailed program will be sent by email to registered participants.
